Interfaith Inventions Inc.  Los Angeles Camp at The Ojai Foundation July 10 -17, 2005 This summer Interfaith inventions will bring a children's interfaith peace camp to the Los Angeles area. Camp will take place in the natural setting of the Ojai Retreat Center where children from diverse faith-based communities can experience the beauty of California's mountain wilderness as the common ground from which to share the meaning and joy of their particular communities. The camp experience includes developing a relationship with the natural world around them; sharing family stories, food customs, drumming and music; exploring shared values of compassion, reconciliation and respect for others through sacred texts and stories from their traditions as well as art projects, games, camp fires and informal play time. The summer program includes following up activities to help forge lasting relationships between the children and their communities.
