• Friendship Ventures

  Friendship Ventures offers summer resident camp programs for anyone age 5 and older who has developmental and (or) physical disability. Camp Friendship and Eden Wood Center offer a variety of activities and activities are adapted to the age and ability of each individual.

• One Step At A Time

  The One Step At A Time camps offer safe, "normal" fun to kids regardless of their need for medical treatment, subject to the treating doctor's consent. The status of the child's therapy does not influence eligibility for camp or participation in camp activities. Children may be undergoing therapy, completely off therapy or be ineligible for further therapy. Health professionals are continuously on site to provide blood counts, chemotherapy or any other medical assistance that might be required.

  All YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee camping programs strive to instill positive values such as caring, honesty, respect and responsibility -- values that help young people make positive choices for a healthy, contributing adulthood.
